Beauty Exam Ready Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Beauty Exam Ready website and the Cosmetology, Esthetician, Nail Technician, and Barber apps. The services are operated by an individual under the Certloom Learning brand. In these terms, that individual is the “Operator,” “we,” or “us.” Certloom Learning is a brand used by the Operator; it is not presented as a corporation or separate legal entity. The Operator's public contact for support and legal notices is certloomlearning@gmail.com.

For apps downloaded from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license. These terms describe the study service and purchases, subject to that agreement and applicable law.

What the service provides

The apps provide original practice questions, explanations, and study tools. Current practice content is written for California's written beauty licensing exams. It is not a state-specific study bank for other states. The apps are not official licensing examinations, and Beauty Exam Ready is not affiliated with any state licensing board, PSI, NIC, Apple, or Google. We do not promise that the questions will appear on an exam, that a score predicts a result, or that use of an app will lead to a license. Exam outlines, laws, and eligibility requirements can change. Check your board's current instructions before you register or practice professionally.

The service provides educational information, not medical, legal, or professional safety advice. Follow current law, your training, product labels, and applicable workplace procedures when performing services.

Eligibility and use

You must be at least 13 to use the service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms. You may use the apps for personal study under a limited, nontransferable license. You may not redistribute the question bank, copy it into another product, bypass purchase controls, or interfere with the service. We may suspend access for serious misuse, subject to applicable law and store rules. We retain rights in the original apps and study content; cited public sources remain with their respective publishers.

Free access and purchases

Each app offers free sample study content. More practice content is available through an auto-renewing one-month subscription, an auto-renewing three-month subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase for that app. Purchases do not automatically unlock the other three apps. A three-day trial may be available with the monthly plan to eligible customers. Before purchase, the app shows the price, billing period, and what you will be charged when a trial ends. The Apple App Store or Google Play completes payment. A subscription renews until canceled in your store account. Cancel before the trial or current paid period ends if you do not want the next charge. Deleting the app or study history does not cancel a subscription. Use the app's Manage subscription link or your Apple or Google account to cancel. Store policies and applicable law govern refunds and billing issues; contact the store where you purchased.

The lifetime purchase grants access to that app's premium content for as long as we make the app available, subject to applicable law and store policies. It cannot be transferred and does not include perpetual support.

Changes and availability

We may correct questions, update sources, and change features as exam rules change. If a material change affects purchased access, we will follow applicable store rules and law. Some features require a compatible device and access to Apple or Google to make, restore, or validate purchases. Study history is stored on your device and may be lost if you remove the app without an export or device backup.

Responsibility

We work to keep the content accurate, but it is provided without a guarantee of completeness or exam success. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
